Ingredient
300g bitter gourd
120g minced pork
1tbsp Chinese preserved olive (lan cai)
1 tsp minced garlic
1 tsp minced shallot
Seasoning
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp sugar
Sauce
Marinade:
2 tsp light soy sauce
1 tsp sugar
Pepper to taste
A few drops of sesame oil
Thickening glaze:
1 tsp corn starch
2 tbsp water
Method
Rinse bitter gourd and slice it. Marinade with 2 tbsp salt for 20 minutes. Rinse off salt and drain.
Marinade minced pork. Heat up 1 tbsp oil to saut?pork till done. Dish up
Heat up 1 tbsp oil to saut?preserveed olive, minced garlic and shallot till fragrant. Add bitter gourd slices and minced pork. Stir fry till done.
Add seasoning. Stir well. Add thickening glaze and cook till sauce thickens. Serve.
