Ingredient
Hairy melon 6 taels
Shrimp 2 taels
Green bean vermicelli 2 taels
Shitake mushroom 1 tael
Shredded carrot 1 tael
Shredded ginger a few
Crushed garlic a few
Minced ginger a few
Seasoning
Oyster sauce 1 tsp
Dark soy 1/2 tsp
Chicken powder 1/4 tsp
Sugar 1/4 tsp
Sesame 1/4 tsp
Salt a pinch
Sauce
Stock 6 taels
Chu Hou sauce 1 tsp
Method
Soak green bean vermicelli and drain. Remove stalk of shitake mushroom. Soak and cut in strips.
Deep fry shrimp and hairy melon in boiling oil for just a while. Drain.
Saute carrot, shitake mushroom, shredded ginger, minced ginger and crushed garlic. Add stock and cook for a while. Add shrimp, hairy melon, chu hou sauce and seasonings. Bring to a boil again. Then, stir in green bean vermicelli.
