Ingredient
100g peeled green beans
6 water chestnut (peeled and diced)
100g rock sugar
2 tsp sweet potato starch
4 cups boiled water
6 cups water
Method
Soak green beans in hot water for 1/2 hour. Drain. Steam over water for 10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
Mix well sweet potato starch with water.
Add rock sugar into boiled water and cook over medium heat till sugar melts. Add diced water chestnut and green beans. Bring Iit to boil. Reduce to low heat and add sweet potato starch solution. Bring it to boil and cook till soup thickens slightly. Serve.
