Ingredient
3 chayote
12 taels lean pork (480g)
4 candied dates
4 dried scallops
8 bowls water
Method
Wash chayote and remove seed. Cut into pieces.
Wash lean pork and scald with boiling water. Rinse with water. Set aside.
Wash and soak dried scallops till soft. Wash dates.
Boil water. Add chayote pieces, pork, dried scallops and dates. Bring it to boil over high heat. Reduce to low heat and simmer for 2 hours. Add salt. Serve.
