Ingredient
1 papaya
2 taels ground nuts (80g)
1 Grass Carp fish tail
2 slices ginger
6 bowls water
Method
Peel papaya and discard seed. Cut papaya into pieces. Soak ground nuts in water for a while. Set aside.
Remove fish scale and wash fish. Wipe dry. Heat 1 tbsp oil in wok. Saute ginger slices till fragrant. Fry fish tail till both sides turn golden. Transfer to dish.
Boil water. Add fish tail, ground nuts, ginger and papaya. Simmer over low heat for 2 hours. Add salt. Serve.
