150g beef balls
113g Tianjin cabbage
1 slice ginger
1 red chilli
Chinese parsley
Seasoning
2 tbsps fish gravy

Ingredients (Beef Soup)
300g beef (cut into thick slices)
1 tsp white peppercorns
1 sprig green garlic
1 sprig Chinese celery
1 slice cinnamon
8 cups water
Method
Wash beef balls. Slit diamond patterns on them. Shred Tianjin cabbage and stir-fry with ginger slice until cooked.
Put beef soup ingredients into a pot. Bring to the boil and turn to low heat and cook for 1 1/2 hours. Discard the ingredients. Add seasoning, beef balls and Tianjin cabbage. Boil again. Garnish with Chinese parsley and red chilli. Serve.
